Over the past couple months we finished our series “Me, Myself, & iPhone” where we took on the challenge of navigating technology and screen time—a topic that hits home for nearly every student (and parent!). Our series, My, Myself, and iPhone, helped students reflect on how they use their screens, how those habits affect their identity and relationships, and how they can use tech in a way that honors God. We dug into tough but important questions like:
Are we addicted to our screens?
What does my digital footprint say about me?
How do I stand for Christ in an online world?
These conversations sparked some great small group discussions and personal reflection. I encourage you to ask your student what they learned—maybe even ask them what kind of "digital disciple" they want to be.
Let’s face it—life can feel overwhelming. Between school stress, friendships, family stuff, social media pressure, and everything in between, students today are carrying more than ever. That’s why in May we will be tackling the topic of mental health.
We’ll take a deep dive into what God says about our mental and emotional health. We’ll create space to talk openly (and safely) about things like anxiety, depression, self-worth, and stress—and how God meets us right in the middle of it all.
Each week, we’ll answer questions like:
Is it okay to struggle with my mental health if I have faith?
What does the Bible say about anxiety or sadness?
How can I find peace when life feels chaotic?
Who can I talk to when I feel alone?
What can I do if I have a friend who struggles with this?
Our goal is to break the silence, remove the stigma, and remind students that they are not alone, they are deeply loved, and there is hope in Christ—no matter what they’re walking through.
We’ll have small group discussions, biblical teaching, testimonies, and practical tools to help students care for their minds and hearts in healthy, God-honoring ways.
Let’s build a community where it’s okay to not be okay—and where students learn to run to Jesus and His church with everything they carry.
